Ultimus Client Summit 2016 Proves a Success,
Connecting Professionals on Many Levels
CINCINNATI, OHIO – October 10, 2016– Ultimus Fund Solutions®, LLC (Ultimus®) recently concluded its fifth annual Ultimus Client Summit at the Marriott RiverCenter in Covington, Kentucky. Ultimus selected “Connect” as the theme for the three-day event which brought together clients, business partners and Ultimus professionals for networking events, topical general sessions and beneficial roundtable discussions. The participants were provided a forum where they could share best practices while enjoying regional fare and greater Cincinnati venues on both sides of the Ohio River.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event, Coach Phillip Fulmer, former Head Football Coach at the University of Tennessee, is known for his ability to deliver motivational speeches on leadership with just the right amount of directness and humor. During his engaging and entertaining speech, Coach Fulmer recounted moments in both his personal and professional life where he learned that making the proper connection with a person, be it by word or action, made an important difference in the outcome of the situation. He stressed to the Summit attendees to take time to reflect on how they communicate, mentor and connect with their clients, partners and employees and to cultivate those relationships in such a way to bring about success in all arenas.
While the days were packed with educational and interactive sessions on topics ranging from regulatory trends and compliance updates to cyber security issues and tax regulations, the evenings were dedicated to a more relaxed and fun-filled environment.As part of the “Connect” theme, guests were welcomed to networking receptions on Wednesday night at New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky and Thursday night at Carol Ann’s Carousel in Smale Riverfront Park in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.Dinner along the Ohio River at beautiful Anderson Pavilion in Smale Riverfront Park was also part of the Thursday evening offerings.
